Ever been the crazy lady in the grocery store? You know, the one who absentmindly mutters to herself things like “I need to go back to the rice aisle.” or “Do I already have enough chicken at home?” as she shops by herself? Well, I was that lady the other day. Standing in the produce section (with the poor produce guy working nearby) I grabbed some broccoli for a soup that I’m making this week. Shocked at the prices I said “Broccoli is $2.50 a bunch? What in the world?” Only, instead of it being in my head I actually said it outloud. Oops.
But really. Can you believe I paid $5.00 for 2 bunches of broccoli?! Ay yi yi.
Yay for Coupons!

- What’s going on at CVS this week? Visit Centsible Sawyer for all the CVS deals for 5/25-5/31.
- Sisterly Savings has the Rite-Aid deals for this week up. Slim pickin’s this week, but I know that Rite-Aid usually has some good deals.
- Walgreen’s more than makes up for it though with a long list of good buys this week.
- Money Saving Mom has a link to some great deals at Target (lots of freebies!)

Free movie ticket with Reel Rewards from Fandago. This is a promotion put on by Redbook. For details click here and scroll down the page a bit. You will see a list of eligible products. Purchase 1 of those products and send in your receipt, name, age, complete address, telephone number to the address listed and you will receive Fandage bucks good for 1 free movie ticket. I think this is an awesome promotion for summertime; some great summer flicks are being released. Promotion runs from May 13th-June 30th, 2008.
