Happy 2008!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I’m back from our vacation/house-hunting trip to California and enjoying the last day at home with the kids before they head back to school tomorrow.

We spent two weeks in southern California visiting family for Christmas and doing a bit of house-hunting/neighborhood searching. We found quite a few neighborhoods we like, but I think we are going to rent first before we buy. We also visited the San Diego Wild Animal Park, rode dirtbikes, and my wallet disappeared (either lost it or got it stole, somewhere in the Wild Animal Park). The weather was gorgeous but it’s nice to be home again.

The break from blogging was much needed and I’m ready to jump back in!

Has anyone gotten anything good at all the after-Christmas sales? Since we are moving soon I’m trying not to buy anything. Don’t want to pack more than I need to!
