How Much Did I Pay For $114.48 Worth of Groceries?
The competition seems to be heating up between two of the major grocery stores here because every time I turn around one of them is having a triple coupons sale at their store.
What is “Triple Coupons”?
Let’s say you have a coupon for .75 off Cheerios. During Triple Coupons the grocery store will triple that coupon and take off $2.25! It makes for some amazing deals.
This week I paid $26.23 for the groceries listed below.
Original price? $114.48
I saved $88.25 or about 77%
1 warm delight mini’s
1 box tyson nuggets
1 international delight creamer
3 Bridgeford rolls
3 tangerines
4 lbs organic chicken
1 Tide HE
6 boxes Tasters choice coffee sticks
7 boxes Hungry Jack pancake mix
2 boxes Domino brown sugar
4 Jif Peanut butter
2 Dole fruit bowl 4 pks.
2 Smucker Jams
8 3 packs of yeast
1 Splenda sticks

Wow! I miss triple coupons. We need to get some competition going between our stores it sounds like.
Super job!
You did great! I wish we had triple coupons! The best we have is a coupon to double up to four manufactured coupons up to 50 cents each.
You got some great deals! I would love to hit a triple coupon deal. But like the above poster, the best I usually get is double up to 50 cents. I wish they would double up to 1.00 at least. Oh well!
Wow.. i still don’t fully understand but with those savings I wish we had them in Australia!
