Sharing My Two Cents has just finished its very first giveaway. I want to thank everyone for stopping by and entering. It’s been fun and I’ve loved reading all your money-saving tips and questions that I hope to answer soon.

Even if you didn’t win make sure you keep reading so you can find out how to get your own free coupons.

Random.org was used to generate a random winning number out of the 116 eligible winning entries.

Drumroll please…

Michelle from Big Blueberry Eyes is the lucky winner of FIVE FREE COUPONS. Michelle, look for an email from me and as soon as I get your address I will mail them out.

Now, about those questions ya’ll left for me. I noticed there was one similar question that many of you asked.

Kacie - from Sense to Save asked:

Cool coupons! Where did you get all of those free ones?

Free coupons are everywhere. On cereal boxes, in the newspaper coupon circulars and in the mail.

I’ll tell you right now how I got the coupons for my giveaway and later this week I’ll share ALL my tips for getting coupons for FREE food; including where to look and who to call.

I gave away 5 coupons in my giveaway.

  • The coupons for Free Barilla pasta and sauce were sent to me after I completed an online survey for Barilla. I actually got 24 coupons total, all for free pasta and sauce.
  • The free Purell coupon I got when I called Pfizer after I had my youngest last year. Pfizer sends out a new Mothers packet full of all kinds of coupon goodies.
  • The free Crest coupon I received in the mail after I completed a rebate; I believe I had to buy 1 tube of Crest toothpaste, mail in the receipt and UPC and I got a coupon for another one free.
  • The free Special K cereal bar coupon was on the side of a cereal box.

Thanks for giving away the free coupons! I’m looking forward to using them :) I’ll have to remember that about Pfizer as I’m due in Feb!
