Sharing My Two Cents is taking the plunge and having it’s very FIRST giveaway! I’m joining the 500+ bloggers hosting giveaways in the Fall Ya’ll bloggy giveaway.
What Can I Win?
With an operating budget of, hmmm… $0, I decided to dig deep into my coupon binder and pull out my very favorite coupons - the type for FREE food! But, one very lucky winner will them all.
Here is what will be given away:
5 coupons for free products:
1 coupon for Free Barilla Pasta (up to $1.29 good during Nov. 2007)
1 coupon for Free Barilla Sauce (up to $2.79 good during Nov. 2007)
1 coupon for Free Crest Nature’s Expressions Toothpaste (up to $3.49 exp. 04/30/08)
1 coupon for Free Purell (up to $3.50 exp. 12/31/07)
1 coupon for Free Kellogg’s Special K Protein Bar (up to $1.59 exp. 12/31/07)
These coupons have a total value of $12.66.

Who Is Eligible?
I really wish I could include my international readers in this one, but these coupons can only be used by those living in the United States (APO/FPO included). Only one entry per person, all duplicate entries will be deleted.
Contest Ends Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 at 8 pm EST. The winner will be emailed following the closing of the contest. Coupons will be mailed out on Monday, November 5th (or as soon as I receive the winner’s mailing address).

Around my house we try to save money by buying in quantity at Sam’s club and repackaging. We also get meat on sale and fill the deep freeze
Great Idea!! I love coupons for free stuff! My money saving tip is to use my coupons on the items already on sale, especially when the store is having a buy-one-get-one-free sale. Use a coupon on top of that and you can save a lot!

I love coupons, but I can never figure out where people find the ones for free stuff. We get some of the weekly newspaper inserts, and occasionally they will have a coupon for a free pack of gum or something, but I never find multiple free offers like for pasta and sauce and tons of other items. Where do you get these?

These are all very practical products! Thanks for the chance to win these coupons.
My favorite money saving tip is declutter & organize so you don’t waste money buying duplicates. Before I found FlyLady.net, I would buy, for instance, shampoo just because it was on sale… only to discover that I had 5 waiting for me at home because I wasn’t organized.

I love coupons, and you’re definitely right that those are the best kind.
My best “tip” is that I use the Grocery Game to help me match coupons with sales. I don’t have the time (as a mom of two boys under age three) to do all that work myself, so it is nice to have someone else do it for me!
The barilla pasta coupons would be great…but so would they all for that matter. These coupons would give me a jumpstart on getting my pantry stocked.

Oh, as a coupon junkie, I LOVE this contes! I save money by using health & beauty coupons that are good on any size and stocking up on trial size items. Usually they pay me to buy the items (i.e. coupon for $1 off, item is .97)! These also make great Christmas gifts when you fill a travel bag with them for someone who travels frequently.
To save money, I use websites like fishingfordeals.com and bensbargains.net to find gifts for my family on sale. I also try to make 2 of whatever I am cooking. A friend of mine will do the same and then we will switch pots. This way our families get a taste of something new and we don’t have to go out to eat at a restaurant. Plus it’s fun to do.
Okay, here’s the question I’ve been wanting to ask:
How in the world do you make money blogging? Does somebody pay you to do this? I’m assuming it’s advertising. Can you pick and choose? (Umm … I need to get a blog!)

I think my favorite money-saving tip is to read message boards and blogs like this to learn about all the latest deals and to have a chance to trade for coupons and forms I can’t get locally.

I love shopping for a good bargain! One of the things that helps me is shopping from a grocery list made from a meal plan. That way, I shop the sales and get the most bang for my coupon buck.

Enter me please! Here is my question - I used to save a LOT with coupons, but it was pretty unhealthy stuff. We really changed our eating habits about a year ago and I’m not finding I can use many coupons other than cleaning products and paper goods. Any tips for eating healthy AND saving??
