Here’s a super easy way to make some free money and it will take less than 5 minutes.

Open an account with Wachovia and both you and the person that referred you will each earn a $25 gift card.

I just called this morning to open my account and in less than 5 minutes I was able to open a free checking account. No fees. My $25 gift card is on its way.

Now that I have an account I can refer others. You sign up as my referral and we both get a $25 gift card. After you sign up you can refer your friends and family and earn even more. The fine print:

Must deposit a minimum of $100 in account. Must keep account open at least 30 days.

Don’t have $100 to put in an account for 30 days? What about your emergency fund? I transferred $100 from my emergency fund to put in this account. I’ll have a debit card so if I need to access it in an emergency I can. Don’t have an emergency fund?
